Hi, my name is Brittany Folk, and this will be my seventh year teaching in the Lyle School District. I currently live in Austin, MN, which is where I grew up. I am excited for a great year!

I graduated from Austin High School in 2013. I got my Associates of Arts degree from Riverland Community College in Austin. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Inclusive Education from Minnesota State University Moorhead in 2017. I also received my Masters of Science degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Minnesota State University Moorhead in 2021.

I am excited to be able to get to know everyone, and for my students to get to know one another. I want to be able to see my class grow together and learn in a fun, but meaningful way, where the students stay motivated and engaged.

When not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and my puppies, Toby and Theo. I enjoy doing anything outdoors, going on bike rides, hiking, and being on lakes. During the colder months, I enjoy watching movies, playing volleyball at my church, and getting together with my grandparents to play cards.

Please feel free to contact me using my email, or by calling me if you have any questions or concerns. The best times to contact me are before or after school. (507) 325-2201

I am looking forward to an amazing year!
